On November 23, 2007 at 19:00, in the framework of the chess festival dedicated to the memory of former World Champion Mikhail Tal, a Grandmaster Charity Evening will be held by the consulting company Strategy Partners in cooperation with the Association of European Businesses in the Russian Federation. The event will take place in one of the most unique locations in Moscow – the top floor reception hall of the GUM department store, overlooking Red Square. During the evening, two of the world’s leading chess grandmasters, former World Champion Anatoly Karpov and Joel Lautier, multiple chess champion of France and Director at Strategy Partners, will give a simultaneous display to Russian orphans and representatives of Russian and foreign business circles.
The Grandmaster Charity Evening is organised with the support of the Russian Chess Federation. Its President Alexander Zhukov (Deputy Prime Minister) and Vice-President Arkady Dvorkovich (Head of the Russian President’s Experts’ Committee) will attend the event, alongside other prominent personalities from the political and business communities.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the charity fund HOPE worldwide-Russia (Nadezhda po vsemu miru), which has been looking after Russian orphans for more than ten years. The event – bringing together chess, business and charity – is the first of its kind in Russia.
We cordially invite you to take part in the Strategy Partners’ Grandmaster Charity Evening.
