13th Annual Children’s Sport Festival of “HOPE”, dedicated to the “Year of Child”

A century will pass,
And it will hardly matter,
How much wealth you possessed,
What house you inhabited,
Which car you owned…
But the world could change a lot…
Because…
I was important in the life of one child

Brief: HOPE Annual Children’s Sports Festival is the only existing children’s sport festival in Russia that brings together such a large number of orphans, handicapped children, and volunteers. For many years the festival has united the forces of the government, social organizations, business representatives, and volunteers in order to create a considerable effort to help children who have been abandoned or forced into a difficult situation. The aim of the programme is to unite the students in the orphanages, to celebrate them and their accomplishments, to develop their love of sports and a healthy lifestyle, and to enable them to build new friendships with other orphans and volunteers. The awarding of the winners of the “HOPE” Spartakiada, which ran throughout the year, takes place during the Festival. In the past few years the Sports Festival has became a celebration that all participants await with great enthusiasm.
